Limassol is the largest coastal town in Cyprus, and the Limassol Cruise port is
its main terminal, located in Akrotri Bay. In the backdrop to the ten mile-long
coast of the city are the magnificent Troodos mountains.

    The cruise port facility is located about 3 km or 2 mi from the city center, which is the old port of Limassol. Passengers stopping briefly here will find a number of facilities at the large port, including banks, duty free shops, a tourist information counter, an international telephone exchange, a cafe or lounge, taxi service, terminal to ship transfers etc. Operating from the harbour is Thomson Cruises. Cruises sail to various Greek Islands and Turkey.

    The luxurious marina that has been built there is Cyprus’s first superyacht marina with exclusive residential units. The old port, to which there are free shuttles as well as a bus service from the new port, is used mainly for pleasure boats and fishing today.
