  • Port Rashid or Mina Rashid Cruise Ship Terminal

    The Dubai Cruise Terminal is located at Port Rashid. There are several cruise docks: Terminal 1, terminal 2 and terminal 3.

    The complex features a lunch cafe and coffee bar, Duty Free and retail outlets, free Wifi and a business center.

    There’s also a currency exchange office, an ATM and a tourist office. Free shopping shuttles will bring you to Mercato Mall and City Center Drive.

    The terminal can easily be reached from your hotel or airport. The main international airport is approx. 15 minutes away by taxi. The official taxis of Dubai are beige with a coloured roof (usually red, green or blue). They have a meter and are allowed to drive in and out of the port area.

    Port Rashid or Mina Rashid is Dubai’s cruise terminal from where cruises commence through the Arabian or Persian Gulf, out into the Gulf of Oman to destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Khasab.

    Some longer voyages end in fascinating cities like Singapore, Venice or Venezia in Italy and Athens (port of Piraeus). Port Rashid is located adjacent to Dubai Drydocks and Maritime City not far from the city centre.

    It’s also the current location of the former Cunard Ocean Liner Queen Elizabeth 2. Among cruise lines departing from Port Rashid are Royal Caribbean International, Thomson Cruises, TUI Cruises, MSC, and AIDA Cruises.

    The main port for large container ships, cargo transport, and Roll-on/roll-off vessels is Jebel Ali Port. The Port of Jebel Ali is the world’s largest man-made harbor and the biggest port in the Middle East. Located 35km southwest of Downtown Dubai.
